As one of our core values, Harvest is committed to the Great Commission. Our driving passion is to share the Good News of God’s grace in Jesus Christ locally, regionally, & globally. Our mission leads us to help people in NW Indiana and around the world come to know Jesus Christ and glorify God in their lives, their families, in the church and in the world.
Individually, we equip Harvesters to impact their circles of influence for Christ, become active witnesses, and use their gifts and resources in church planting projects. Harvest is also committed to supporting evangelism and missions financially. From our inception, Harvest has covenanted to give a significant and increasing portion of our undesignated offering to missions (currently 15%). In addition, Harvest asks individuals to give to missions through special offerings for North American and International missions as well as the support of individual missionaries.
We believe that the Great Commission is central to the heart of God and the ministry of Jesus Christ. Thus, the Great Commission is central to the purpose of Harvest Baptist Fellowship. At Harvest, our mission is to glorify God and make his Son known throughout the world to this generation.
